Description
The Kahului Hawaii Temple was announced in October 2023, by President Russell M. Nelson as the first temple on the island of Maui. The temple is currently in the planning and approval phase. A groundbreaking date has not yet been announced. Plans call for a single-story temple of 19, 000 square feet with an accompanying ancillary building.
